INGREDIENTS
- 1 tsp Abiding Citizen Simple Syrup
- 10-20 Drops Abiding Citizen Citrus Bitters
- 2 oz Rye Whiskey or Bourbon
- 1 Strip Lemon or Orange Zest, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
Place teaspoon of Simple Syrup and Citrus Bitters in the bottom of a chilled Old Fashioned glass. Fill glass with ice, add the whiskey or bourbon and stir well to combine. Garnish with the Lemon or Orange zest.
For a twist, try our Cranberry Rosemary Bitters in your next Old Fashioned. Or replace 1 tsp of Rich Simple Syrup with 1 tsp of our Demerara Syrup and 10 drops of Baking Spice bitters in place of our Citrus bitters for a play on the classic.
